Interior, Entranace Vestibule, photo by CCL This church houses one of the country's oldest African-American Christian Science congregations. The building's temple front, broad dome, and interior plan are handsome Classical Revival-style features. Derived from ancient Roman architecture, this style was popularized by the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition.
